PRIVACY POLICY

At the Partnership for Quality Child Care, nfp ("Partnership"),
we recognize that privacy is an important issue. It is our policy
to respect and protect the privacy of our users of services available
through our Early StarsSM website ("Site"). This Privacy Policy
discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices.
The Partnership believes that electronic privacy is crucial for
the ongoing success of the Internet as a service medium. This
Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms of
The Partnership's Terms of Use which are also contained on the
Site.
Access to Children
The Partnership does not knowingly solicit, collect or retain information
from anyone 13 years of age and under. Children are not eligible
to use our services and we ask that minors (under the age of 18)
do not submit any personal information to us.
Information Collection
To fully use our services, you will be required to provide us
with your contact information including your complete name and
other personal information such as, mailing address and e-mail
address. The Partnership may also store to maintain an historical record of
your information and use that information to provide you with
offers for services on the Site that may interest you or for marketing
or promotional offers. The Partnership is the sole owner of the information
collected on this Site.
Use of Information
When you use the Site or the Partnership services, the Partnership may track certain
information about you and your activities on our Site to improve
the overall quality of the online experience. The Partnership or its agents
may count, track and aggregate the user's activity to analyze
general traffic at the Site. To these ends, the Partnership may merge information
about Site visitors which may then be shared on an aggregated
basis with advertisers and business partners. However, the Partnership does
not store passwords in a "cookie" file or personally identifying
information. The Partnership uses this information to target marketing offers
to you, for demographic research, to monitor Site performance,
utilization of features and services and traffic trends and to
better understand and serve our users. The Partnership may also share some
of the information about you with certain Partnership partners. Although
the Partnership requires that its partners comply with this Privacy Policy,
the Partnership has no control over the privacy practices of others. The Partnership does
not sell, exchange, or release any personally identifiable information
to a third party except as required to provide you with services
through the Site. From time to time the Partnership may introduce new products
and services to its customers. To the extent these new products
and services affect this policy, this policy will be modified
or updated. This policy may also be modified from time to time

process information submitted through the Partnership Site. The Partnership may use
your submitted information periodically to contact you with various
Partnership service offerings and you agree to receive those messages.
The Partnership cannot ensure that all of your private communications and
other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed
in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. The Partnership may
be required to disclose information to the government or pursuant
to a valid legal process such as, a subpoena or court order or
third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions.
Therefore, although the Partnership uses industry standard practices to protect
your privacy, the Partnership does not promise, and you should not expect,
that your personally identifiable information or private communications
will remain private.
Promotional Activities/Surveys
The Partnership may sponsor promotional events, programs or other
similar activities which require the collection, processing and
storing of individual contact and demographics information to
be used for the event. The Partnership may also co-sponsor these
activities with other organizations or business partners in which
case individual contact and demographic information is likely
to be shared with the other participating sponsors. Personal contact
information will not be released to third parties or non-participating
organizations without consent and the Partnership will request
that co-sponsors of such event uphold the privacy of your information.
The Partnership may conduct surveys in connection with the Site
or Partnership services. As part of that process, the Partnership
may ask you to provide personal information, e.g., e-mail address,
and demographic information, e.g., zip code. The Partnership will
use the information collected from the surveys to improve the
features and content of the Site. You are not required to participate
in any surveys and may "opt out" of receiving requests to participate
in surveys. When appropriate, an option will be made available
to users, for special activities, to choose whether or not to
receive information from third-party organizations.
Correcting/Updating Personal Information
Where your personally identifiable information changes, you may

shown below. Users of the Partnership Site may choose at any time to remove
all contact and other information stored by the Partnership by contacting
the Partnership at the address below. In the event you request removal of
information while it is being processed, the Partnership shall not be liable
for problems arising from the removal of such information.
Opt Out
Users of the Site are given the opportunity to "opt-out" of having
their information used for purposes not directly related to our
Site. You may choose at any time to remove all contact and other
information stored by the Partnership by contacting us. If you are in the
European Union or other regions outside the United States, you
fully understand and consent to the collection and processing
of your personal information in the United States. You should
be aware that, when you voluntarily disclose personal information
in discussion areas, that information can be collected and used
by others and may result in unsolicited messages from other parties.
Security
The Partnership applies standards in the industry to safeguard the confidentiality
of your personally identifiable information, such as firewalls
and encryption. However, "perfect security" does not exist on
the Internet.
